Throughout the year the conditions of the weather remain more or less consistent. There is very little or no variation in temperature at all. The coastal town of Hilo receives two seasons. Neither of the two seasons is particularly extreme in any way. The summer season starts from the month of May, and goes up to the month of October. The humidity during the summer season is low, and the temperatures are quite pleasant. The climate is warm. The month of September is the warmest month of the whole year.

The average highest temperature in this season is around twenty eight degrees centigrade, which is the same as eighty two degrees Fahrenheit. The winter season starts from the month of November and goes up to the month of April. There are very rare cases in which the temperature in the winter season goes below eighteen degrees Centigrade, which is the same as sixty five degrees Fahrenheit. The month of February is the coldest month of the year.

In the summer season the difference between the temperature during the day and the temperature during the night is very less. The maximum difference between the day and night temperature has been fourteen degrees Fahrenheit. Te same is the case in the winter season, and the maximum difference between the temperature during the day and the temperature during the night is sixteen degrees Fahrenheit.
